The University of Birmingham was home to 29 graduation ceremonies in July. Each of these events provided a chance for students to celebrate their hard work over the last few years alongside their family and friends.
Creative Media was thrilled to bring these ceremonies to life!
For those who couldn’t make it to the day, the ceremonies were live-streamed for friends and families watching from home. In a room just off the Great Hall, a small team controlled the footage broadcast online, seamlessly transitioning between shots of the speakers, the graduands, and the audience.
We showcased our photographic offering after the ceremonies, capturing candids and engaging shots of graduates outside the Aston Webb building. Chris from our media team interviewed several graduates on what their degree meant to them.
Our design team were hard at work on the ceremonies, designing signage and graduation inners to help each day run smoothly.
For those seeking a memento to remember their day, Creative Media hosted a merchandise shop on the Green Heart. The shop was a hit with graduates – no surprise considering our very own Sabrina Hulse was running it. Sabrina was nominated for a Birmingham Professional award this July for her excellent job on the graduation shop in 2022.
